Join the Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking (LCHT)  in collaboration with the Western Slope Against Trafficking (WSAT) for an important discussion on how labor trafficking is impacting the region. Since 2020, LCHT has been convening Colorado's Human Trafficking Partnership Leaders with the goal of supporting and sustaining collaborative efforts to combat human trafficking at the community level. This forum will highlight the work of WSAT. You will hear from survivors, advocates, legal experts, and landowners who are working towards healthier work environments and equity in our food systems.

Panelists include:
David Harold: Tuxedo Corn
Ricardo Perez: Hispanic Affairs Project
Patricia Maradiegue de Wagner: Advocate
David Seligman: Towards Justice
Ignacio Alvardo: Sheepherder Outreach Worker
Jenifer Rodriguez: Colorado Legal Services Migrant Farmworker Division
Tom Acker: Western Slope Against Trafficking

Who Should Attend:
WSAT members and community partners,
Leaders from Colorado's 20 coalitions.

Learning Objectives:
How WSAT's long-standing partnership has evolved over a decade,
Coalition building promising practices,
Western Slope human trafficking cases,
Survivor and advocate expertise,
Practitioners sharing what they are doing to stop exploitation and seek justice.
