Suffs is a musical written by Shaina Taub based on the American women's suffrage movement, focused primarily on the historical events leading up to the ratification of the Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution in 1920 that gave women the right to vote. The musical tells the stories of the women who led the effort over many years, despite numerous setbacks and lack of support among the men in political office.
